PEOPLE SOURCE CONSULTING SHORTLISTED FOR BRISTOL POST BUSINESS AWARD

PEOPLE SOURCE CONSULTING SHORTLISTED FOR BRISTOL POST BUSINESS AWARD

We have been shortlisted for Large Business of the Year by the Bristol Evening Post which recognises profitable local businesses that can demonstrate growth, future potential and a positive impact on Bristol’s economy.

Recently listed by The Recruiter as the fastest growing IT recruitment agency in the UK, we have achieved a significant amount of growth in the last few years, influenced heavily by our expansion and recruitment of extremely talented Consultants who have opened up opportunities in new markets, and been instrumental in our inclusion on a number of major Government procurement frameworks. Our turnover is 138% compared to last year, with 17 new staff members since January 2014, and room to grow by another 30 people at the new office we moved to in November.

We work incredibly hard at People Source to stand out as a consultancy that do things differently. Our people are at the core of everything we do, whether that be our employees, candidates or clients. As we stated in our awards entry, Bristol is full of excellent businesses, but we feel that we are pioneering a different way of doing things within the recruitment industry. Our culture is what differentiates us and has put us on the map as an employer of choice.

Jason Baker, Chairman at people Source said: “It is an honour to have been selected amongst some of Bristol’s greatest businesses, especially those in our category who have a long standing reputation in their industries. It is a testament to our growth over the years, and more importantly our commitment to making People Source the best place to do business in the recruitment industry.”

Our aim from this award is to demonstrate the importance of focusing on people and nurturing talent during this progressive time in the business and technology industry in Bristol and the South West. The people who are the face of the company, the ones who are talking to your customers every day, the ones who generate the profits are the ones on the ‘shop floor’ – and they should be the ones who get the most attention.

Well done to all of the finalists of the Evening Post Business Awards and best of luck in the next stage!
