Barcelona 2019

Barcelona 2019

The clocks turn back this weekend and the shorter days are well on their way but the People Source annual trip still has the office buzzing. This year our company-wide trip took us to Barcelona. We were housed in the glorious Pullman Barcelona Skipper, which is a stone’s throw from the beach and La Ramblas.

To kick the trip off we chartered the Bermuda rigged Southern Cross boat for an afternoon of sailing. We spent 4 hours re-enacting the “I think I’m flying” scene from titanic at the front of the deck and loudly reciting some of our favourite songs even though there was no sound system. While our singing might have given Simon Cowell nightmares, we had a good time.

Docked, showered and fed we met up for the evening at a local open-air bar. Before we knew it, the evening had turned into morning and one of the team announced it was time to head to the legendary club, Pasha. Some strapped on their dancing shoes while others took it as an opportunity to call it a night.

The next day the team were still buzzing from the night before. The guys spending the extra night in Barcelona to watch the football decided to have a lie in and save themselves for the extra day, while those that had to check out decided to head to the Placa Reial for paella, steak and acrobatic entertainment from the square’s performers.

We finished the day on hotel Barceló Raval’s rooftop bar to watch the sunset followed by a short taxi ride to the airport for our flight home. Every year this trip allows our teams to strengthen the unity that drives our business and we want you to be a part of it next year.

We are currently looking to recruit experienced IT 360 recruiters to join our team. If you are a People Source person, looking to shape your career, earn money and work in a highly collaborative environment then send your CV to
