C++ Software Engineer / Back End Developer

Unique and interesting opportunity for a Back End Developer specialised in C++ to join a research and development organisation which is partnered with some of the biggest consumer electronics companies in the world.
I'm looking for a high-performing individual, skilled in C++, Linux, AWS and PostgreSQL, to join the R&D team and the lead on back-end development for their acoustic engineering and analysis software which is used by internal and external software development teams.
It's a varied and challenging role suited to a Software Developer who is familiar with embedded development, servers, databases and interface / application development in C++, with an appreciation for the overall architecture and the ability to collaborate with other software engineers to design the very best system.
This is a great team and company to join if you're looking for something a bit different and / or have an interest in machine learning.
Remote working, UK based, regular meetings when covid restrictions are lifted.
Profile -
-C++ Software Engineer with a back end focus
-Experience working on large scale, complex software systems
-Understanding of servers, databases and application development
-Knowledge of driver development, embedded development or lower level programming
-Good commercial awareness and appreciates the importance of finding the right solution
-Clear and concise communicator
-Comfortable working remotely and collaborating with remote team members
-Methodical approach and good problem solving skills
