    Job description

    A market leading B2C FTSE listed company, with offices around the country, are looking for a Head of Brand to be responsible for creating and shifting their brand message and brand position nationally. This is a newly created role that will have full ownership of the company brand message. Working with significant budgets, and partnering with commercial, marketing and digital teams, the successful candidate will be responsible for the full re-branding of the company - from overall brand strategy, tone of voice, messaging and everything else in-between!

    This is a rare opportunity to re-brand an already successful company and develop their messaging and extend their reputation as a trusted brand of choice in a rapidly growing market.

    The Head of Brand is an all-encompassing role that will suit a branding expert with proven experience of B2C brands where they will have been responsible for the full branding lifecycle where the focus has been creating strong engagement and brand recognition across all channels (online and offline).

    As part of a company wide change and transformation project the Head of Brand will work to change the company's perceptions and also how the whole sector will be viewed! You will utilise research and analysis to develop your understanding of the target demographic, and will work to construct specific targeted messaging that engage and create trust and real value add.


    Oversee all brand activity across channels such as TV, Radio, Press, Digital Media, Sponsorship etc. as well as all printed materials taking up a brand guardian position.
    Be a champion of the brand with creative flair.
    Lead the planning and production of brand campaigns, managing multiple stakeholders to deliver inspiring and innovative campaigns that have the customer at the core.
    Define and shape brand strategy for target groups across the UK.
    Develop the Brand proposition, brand personality, the rules of engagement and working principles.
    Conduct specific insight lead projects to help understand both customer and industry wide trends in order to fine tune communications and influence brand perceptions.

    Experience needed:

    Extensive Big Brand experience within B2C products or services
    Strong understanding of all aspects of the full marketing mix
    Highly analytical and able to understand brand drivers
    Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
    Strong manager with a proven record of successful team management
    Entrepreneurial and creative with a hands on approach
    Experience of developing strong customer messaging
    Degree level education and ideally holding a relevant professional qualification CIM, MBA
