    Business Change Project Manager - SC CLEARED (IB93)

    Location: Salisbury, England  |  Contract Type: Contract  |   |  Salary: £600 - £670 / day

    Job description

    People Source Consulting are recruiting a Project Manager with an expertise within Business Change for a 6+ month contract.

    This role sits inside IR35.

    About the role:
    Our customer currently outsources its IS services through a contract with a third party supplier, they are undertaking the process to re-tender this contract and therefore has a requirement for a 6 month feasibility study to undertake service assessments, requirements capture, option appraisals, organisational impact assessments, risk evaluations and financial cost comparisons to consider which, if any, IT services should be moved in-house.

    This role is responsible for:
    * Undertaking further assessment of the identified options
    * Undertaking a detailed impact analysis of issues such as TUPE liability, asset transfer or write-off, and changes to operational or administrative processes.
    * Undertaking robust risk management planning; playing a major role in mitigating the possible risks associated with service transfer
    * Identifying dependencies with current and future service models
    * Producing recommendations and costed options for the future management of the services once transferred back to the public sector
    * Producing clear, coherent and comprehensive business cases for approval
    * Developing and maintain high levels of stakeholder engagement (technical experts, programme teams, Commercial, HR, IT Delivery and contract management) in order to achieve these outcomes, whilst ensuring delivery to plan.

    About you:
    * A proven track record as an experienced project manager successful in delivering IT business change projects.
    * Demonstrable understanding of the challenges associated with insourcing IT services back to the public sector
    * A sound IS background with a good working knowledge of Operational Service Delivery
    * The ability to deliver at pace and to challenging timescales
    * A good understanding of IS service delivery models with the authority and knowledge to influence technical discussions and propose options and solutions.
    * The ability to develop, analyse and recommend clearly presented financial options.
    * An understanding of TUPE and the impacts on personnel associated with service transfer with an approach which demonstrates a good level of sensitivity and understanding
    * Good negotiation skills with a demonstrable track record of influencing key stakeholders at a senior level.
    * Business acumen to support commercial negotiations relating to the removal of services from the current contract
    * Experience of working across teams with a positive attitude to enabling and supporting others alongside the ability to be self-motivated and driven in the achievement of goals.
    * Excellent verbal and written communication skills and is able to tailor their style to suit the audience.
    * Excellent interpersonal skills the ability to develop and maintaining productive working relationships
    * The ability to work with minimal supervision using their own initiative
