People Source Consulting have partnered with a global, well-funded video streaming technology company to hire a Senior DevOps Engineer. They are a highly ambitious and transformative video streaming platform company who powers streaming services for media companies globally and will collectively stream to a billion monthly active users. They have recently received $5 million in funding which is being used to scale the business. The company are being valued at $100 million in 18 months’ time.

The Senior DevOps Engineer will ensure that the system is well architected from the infrastructure point of view to meet business and architectural goals, especially ensuring high availability and scalability. They will ensure full automation of infrastructure provisioning and configuration management with the goal of continuous deployment and zero downtime.

Required Experience:

• Very good AWS knowledge and experience
• Expert user of Terraform
• Good knowledge of MongoDB
• Experience with Elastic Search
• Good knowledge of Git & Gitlab pipelines
• Experience of using CDN’s (Desirable)

• Best security practices and ability to implement them
• Knows best operation practices around monitoring, alerting, backups and disaster recovery
