Data Engineer

Data Engineer – {Remote} – up to £60,000

People Source is currently partnered with one of the UK’s leading private medical providers, servicing over 2 million customers across 350 locations. We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to work remotely as a part of a strategic and agile team.

Reporting to the Lead Software Developer, you will provide robust and optimised data solutions to the business and will work collaboratively as a part of the software development team. You will focus on the core data entities within the company and will work closely with application support and business intelligence teams.

Responsibilities:

• You will collaborate with members of an agile scrum team, taking user stories from their initial refinement stage, all the way through to delivery
• You will retrieve and optimise practice data for analysis and reporting
• You will combine datasets throughout the business, providing centralised insights to truly support the data-driven business strategy
• You will support operational teams to diagnose potential bugs and errors that are escalated to the software development team

Requirements:

• Azure; Data Factory, Service Bus, SQL databases, Analysis Services
• Power BI
• Microsoft SQL Server and Integration Services
• Experienced in Scrum and Agile frameworks
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• You need to be able to pass enhanced DBS clearance
• Full rights to live and work indefinitely in the UK
