Ethical Recruitment

You are here:  Careers  ›  Ethical Recruitment

We believe that there is more to a business than profits. Over the years we have continued to increase our ethical standing, developed strategies to stay as environmentally friendly as possible and encouraged all of our people to participate in important charity work to help give back to the community. We are always looking for new ways to build on our ethical values, here is what we are doing so far...

People Source Ethical - Charity Work

As an ethical business we see the importance of supporting community projects and charity initiatives in ways that allow our people to not only help those in need, but also to push their own boundaries. Our annual goal is achieved through team and individual fundraising and volunteering with our chosen charities. We also have a dress down day every month where our team donate £2 each to our charity collection.

We have supported Rainbow Trust, Kids, Princes Trust and Secret World. Each year we choose a different charity to support and our people are given exclusive time to volunteer and fundraise.

People Source Ethical Princes Trust

The Princes Trust played a huge part in the initial stages of People Source’s development, and ever since, this has been one of the charities that the business has supported strongly.

Jason Baker, our MD, is a member of the South West Leadership Group, who provide additional support to the charity, and acts as a mentor to young entrepreneurs through the trust.

People Source Ethical Being GreenWe support the preservation of the environment as much as we can with recycling of paper, cardboard, plastic, and as much as we can encourage our team to do! We operate a ride-to-work scheme that many of our employees have participated in. Minimal printing is encouraged to save paper, and we support through the recycling of printer ink cartridges.

We prefer to keep the windows open and enjoy the fresh air than turn on the AC, and are continuing in our bid to be as environmentally friendly as possible.

People Source Ethical PADP

People Source wish to help disabled employees to realise their full potential and provide them with the same career prospects and promotional opportunities that are available to all employees.

In addition, we are committed to helping with the retraining, rehabilitation and reasonable adjustments for those who become disabled during the course of their working life.

People Source Ethical Supporting Start-ups

Our people are truly consultants. An example of this would be from one of our specialist areas, Tech Start-up Recruitment. Our Senior Consultant in this area regularly gives advice to new businesses on the process of hiring people for the first time and recently gave a talk on best practice for start-up recruitment.

As a business we continue to support exciting and innovative start-up companies around the world in the their recruitment processes.
