DDS needed teams which had:

Solutions

Working closely with our design leads, we provided expert advice, assisting in the creation and review of deliverables and assurance artefacts across numerous competencies (Innovation – Architects in new/emerging technologies, User Experience Designers, DevOps Developer/Testers and Web Designer/Developers; Architecture – Enterprise, Solution, Business, Information, Network, Security, Communications, Infrastructure, Cloud, Applications Architects).

We provided design consultants and a large team of automation cloud engineers for NSOIT(D) and other areas within Defence Digital working on Data Centre Design (facilities and hardware, Infrastructure architecture, LAN/WAN, firewalls, VOIP, Cloud, End User Services and Collaboration tools).

Outcome

Our supply of Suitably Qualified and Experienced Persons (SQEP) supplemented the MoD core teams with the right consultant at the right grade, who were technical and cultural fits, as well as quicker and better value than other suppliers.

Our consultants, who already had an in-depth knowledge of the Defence Digital technology, were able to deliver high quality services from day one. They also had experience across government and private sectors which meant they could introduce innovative ways of working and knowledge share beyond the end date of the contract, providing real value added to the MOD.

We achieved the highest score of 4.7 out of 5 in the DefDig contract LFE for successful delivery, stakeholder engagement, partnership, transparency and communication across all Design as a Service (DaaS) CCT412 tasks from 2017 to 2020.
